漏洞描述

在二进制文件描述器(BFD)库(又名libbfd)中的merge.c中的函数sec_merge_hash_lookup中发现了一个基于堆的缓冲区过读问题，分布在GNUBinutils2.31中，因为当大小不是Entsize的倍数时，_bfd_add_merge_section错误处理部分会合并。一个特别制作的ELF允许远程攻击者导致拒绝服务，如ld所示。
